So the Fed could appear to be competenly above the fray, but the strings were being pulled, not by them from above, but the players on the stage below.

BlackRock needs to be introduced to Mr. Clayton and Mr. Sherman, big time.
It may even be too late for Standard Oil threapy. Arthur Anderson therapy may be most effective.
