Link to J.P. Sears take on the Restrict Act. I don't see how he does these with a straight face. However, he is dead on in his interpretation of the harm the Act will cause to Freedom of Speech.

Whoever dreamed up the restrict act is obviously a brain dead leftist, like Brandon.

“Whoever dreamed up the restrict act is obviously a brain dead leftist, like Brandon.”

Lindsey Graham has signed on to it I believe. So you are correct.

The GOP voted for the Restrict Act.

While it does not mention Tik-Tok, it is aimed at foreign governments collecting data.....because only US Big Tech and the US gov’t can collect data on citizens.

Make no mistake. TikTok is not a good guy, but the desire to crack down on them is because our domestic Big Tech cannot get that same data.

So, they wish to use their friends in the US gov’t to eliminate the competition.

The Restrict Act will not only empower Big Tech and the US gov’t, but it will eliminate free speech in the US forever.

The Restrict Act is the next step of the Patriot Act.

The restrict act will also outlaw working from home, as most are configured to use VPNs, which will be illegal.

Don’t worry too much about SB 686... the ‘leak’ from the ‘21 year old E-3 Mass.-ANG gamer- on TDY to Ft Bragg’ was a ‘False Flag - Black Swan’ event intended to let the DOD take over the ‘Big Brother on Steroids’ program, without having to pretend to do it legally through the Legislative process.

The “Restrict Act” should be rebranded as the “Big Brother Act” because truth in advertising matters. The bill could make using a vpn illegal because it attempts to hide communications from Big Brother. Big Brother needs to make sure you are not selling secrets to foreign leaders, that is their job not yours. By using tic tok you could be reducing the profit in government subversive business practices with their “free market” surrogates. Like any other business, crime pays better when the scarcity of criminal activity leveraged.
