" Afterwards Desantis’ numbers skyrocketed.

This is a lie. He trailed in almost every single poll of the race against the Democrat. He never "skyrocketed." Furthermore, Trump endorsed DeSantis in December 2017, DeSantis never had a chance to surge against Gillum because of a new Trump endorsement, you're literally just making crap up to suit your fantasy narrative.

The fact was Florida is trending red. That same year in 2018, Rick Scott ousted 18-year incumbent Bill Nelson from the U.S. Senate. Going to claim that was all The Donald too?

DeSantis won Florida in 2022 against a Democrat by a bigger margin than Donald Trump ever has and ever will in the state.

Anyone could have beaten Charlie Crist, I mean give me a break.

I know that DeSantis is popular in FL, but will that translate nationwide?

How dare you insert facts into the discussion to derail nonsensical moronic rambling!

We don’t need facts! We have our feelings!

You are of course, correct. DeSantis and Scott won by nearly the exact same margin. DeSantis was behind in almost every single poll. Nelson lead most polls over Scott as well.

People forget that 2018 was a D wave year, and Florida was several points to the right of the national mean, just like it has been in every election since 2004. If Trump’s endorsement was the magic talisman that some of the clueless think that it was, DeSantis would have won by a lot more than Scott.

“DeSantis won Florida in 2022 against a Democrat by a bigger margin than Donald Trump ever has and ever will in the state.”
LOL. One article does not a fact make. In fact, Desantis and his camp is proof positive of this. When President Trump told the country about Desantis coming to the president BEGGING for his endorsement, nearly in tears, there was no refutation of that. Nary a word of adamant refutation.
Desantis is a governor Mini-Me. Attempting to advance a political career on the coattails of the man who made him with no loyalty whatsoever to the man who helped him become a governor.
A man such as this is NEVER to be trusted. He is a man concerned with his own aspirations. Our country does not need another such a person. They are responsible for the precarious situation this once great country is in. Such persons are our ultimate doom. If you are too blind to see this You are a part of the ultimate demise of the USA.

Read it & weep:

Florida 2020 election votes received by Trump 5,668,731

Florida 2022 governor election votes receive by DeSantis 4,613,783

Trump received a million more votes than DeSantis received, from Floridians, in Florida.

Now it's true that Ron DeSantis handily won re-election as Florida governor on November 8, 2022 by the largest margin of any Florida governor in 40 years according to Associated Press VoteCast data. But that has nothing to do with Donald John Trump.

In a head-to-head vote count with Trump, albeit in different elections, Trump trounced the DeSantis vote count, even while DeSantis rightly earned the above accomplishment.
