“Until Trump can show us how he beats the dems next time, I don’t want to hear all the nonsense.”
You Never-Trumper Trolls on FreeRepublic are laughable. This bogus Talking Point, repeated ad nauseum is pathetic.
My current governor was losing so badly to a Beta Male, Homosexual Marxist Mayor his hopes to become our governor were nonexistent. He went to President Trump and BEGGED for the president’s endorsement. President Trump did so. Afterwards Desantis’ numbers skyrocketed. Not due to anything Desantis had done. Wholly and Completely due to President Trump’s endorsement.
His reelection was mostly due to President Trump’s endorsement carry-over effect. With help from Desantis’ opponent, Crist, a political whore that most recognized for what he is.
So, how does the POS Desantis repay the man totally responsible for his position as governor? As any politician/lawyer does. He stabs the man in the back for his own personal political ambitions.
I and my family are politically active in our state of Florida. I will tell you people this. There is no chance whatsoever that Desantis will beat President Trump in the primaries in our state. Not a chance. In fact, if he’s foolish enough to try his political career is finished. Period.

" Afterwards Desantis’ numbers skyrocketed.

This is a lie. He trailed in almost every single poll of the race against the Democrat. He never "skyrocketed." Furthermore, Trump endorsed DeSantis in December 2017, DeSantis never had a chance to surge against Gillum because of a new Trump endorsement, you're literally just making crap up to suit your fantasy narrative.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2018/governor/fl/florida_governor_desantis_vs_gillum-6518.html

The fact was Florida is trending red. That same year in 2018, Rick Scott ousted 18-year incumbent Bill Nelson from the U.S. Senate. Going to claim that was all The Donald too?

DeSantis won Florida in 2022 against a Democrat by a bigger margin than Donald Trump ever has and ever will in the state.

LOL! “Never-Trumper Trolls ?”

I voted for Trump twice.
- I want you to tell me how Trump wins 270 EVs.
- I want you to tell me what they’re doing differently to prevent the steal this time. If he couldn’t stop it as president, why should I believe he can now?
- He gave the green light for Ronna Romney McDaniel to be RNC chair. She was a failure in 2018, 2020, and 2022. Why should I believe doing the same thing over and over again will produce a different result?

Again, I would like for Trump to be president again but I just don’t have a high degree of confidence. If we lose in 2024, we’re done.

Trying to label people that supported him twice before as “Never-Trumper Trolls” is clueless and uninformed.

Re: "Trump endorsement was vital to DeSantis in 2018."

Trump was the sitting GOP President.

Why would Trump NOT endorse DeSantis in 2018?

Also, there was significant voter fraud in Broward County in 2016 and 2018.

DeSantis crushed that voter fraud after being elected governor in 2018.

In 2020, Trump won Florida by 3%.

In 2022, DeSantis won Florida by almost 20%!

I don’t believe for a second that DeSantis begged for endorsement from trump. Show me the video. Trump exaggerates constantly.

Good post! I believe you’re right about RD’s chances in FL. Polls are showing him losing to PDJT there. He’s a great gov for FL, but not ready for prime time yet.
