It is both amusing and dismaying to see how many Freepers think that they themselves, their favorite blogger, or retired military or intelligence analyst know more than either Prigozhin or Girkin about the war in Ukraine.

Girkin spent 20 years laying the ground work for the war and Prigozhin's Wagner proxy army (which is exactly what Wagern is) spent the last 10 years fighting it. For reasons I do not understand, that makes them unqualified to criticize Moscow's handling of the war.

As far as I'm concerned, thank God for Ukraine Girkin is not in overall command. He would be able to win or create the Russian army that could win. Fortunately for everyone, that means he has no place in Putin's regime.
