4. Russians now only target civilians and apartment buildings.

We have known since the beginning of the year Bakhmut would likely fall. Ukraine decided to make it as costly as possible for Russia. That plan has worked. Wagner has run out of conscripts and prisoners, now it is the core of the Wagner group taking more casualties. Those Wagner would have been senior NCOs to middle level officers in a NATO army. Indirectly, that is causing a preemptive brain of experienced soldiers for future Russian operations.
