We should all get electric pickups and carry a generator in the truck bed, with plenty of fuel to keep it running, so it can keep the truck’s battery charged. That is the vehicle market of the future, and it demonstrates the absurdity of the push to EVs.

The left’s goal is not to force people to drive electric cars. Not even the far left believes that our electric grid could ever handle everyone trading their ICE vehicles for electric ones. The goal is to force people to ride mass transit by making any other option prohibitively expensive.

Perhaps what is needed is a large scale grid collapse in a state like California leaving all those smug EV drivers stranded for weeks. This might be the wake up call.
St. Paul, MN has just put their first electric fire truck online, the dirty secret is that it has a diesel generator to keep the pumps running during a fire.
