This is unfortunate. When shopping for items such as cameras, cell phones, computer equipment, etc.I like to pick up the item and handle it to see if it’s right for me rather than reading the specs or looking at pictures on the computer. And when I purchase the item, I can walk out of the store with it and not have to wait for it to be delivered and maybe be stolen by porch pirates if it arrives when I’m not at home.

Totally agreed.

That goes for returns, too.

If you get it yourself, you’re less likely to NEED a return. If you do, it’s much easier and to the point.

Sorry, constant boxes doesn’t do it for me.

Catalog shopping (that’s what it is, people, don’t give yourself airs) has its place, for many simple things, but live in hand is still much better for so many things.
