The State is pursuing absolute power over other people’s daughters and sons.
Parental rights derive from the fact that the parent is responsible for their children. If you are responsible for their actions and their care, then you must have the rights that allow them to make the decisions that the children are incapable of making. The state would not allow you to get your underage children drunk or drugged. But the state can make life altering decisions for your children and you are not consulted? I remember when a school would not give your children an aspirin because of liability. But they’ll council your children to mutilate themselves and there’s no liability? I’m pretty sure that if a parent did something like that to their children just, say five years ago, that parent would be facing prison. But the school can do it? The school can arrange for an abortion without the parent’s consent and there’s no liability? (And, possibly, just this opinion is enough to put me on an FBI watch list.)

Teachers are delegated the task of education by the parents.
They are employees, nothing more.
If they get out of line they need to be removed from the job—and parents need to step up and do the task themselves.
