The national COVID-19 emergency is drawing to a close, which means certain treatments and tests that have previously been available without cost is soon to change. However, working on effective vaccines and therapies for COVID-19 is far from over. The federal government recently announced plans to spend over $5 billion in order to speed up new vaccines and treatments, according to a Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) spokesperson and a Biden administration official.
The plan, called Project NextGen, was first announced in the Washington Post on April 10 and aims to provide better protection from future coronaviruses that could become public health threats. It is the follow-up to the Trump Administration’s Operation Warp Speed, which sped up the production of COVID-19 vaccines in 2020. Project NextGen would take a similar approach by partnering public and private-sector organizations to accelerate development of different vaccines and therapies in an ever changing virus.

It was either an abuse of power or something every single taxpaying citizen deserves to know.
From someone who is now offering more taxpayer funded solutions by paying anyone to have children… abuse of power seems most consistent.

My doctor treats me differently since I refused the Covid shot....told me I was going to die but he doesn’t have anything to say in my two subsequent yearly visits...guess he thinks I’m a ghost waiting in his exam room for 30+ minutes!

I think I would rather risk living without any more injections. I have seen too much suggestion that MRNA vaxxine should be put into ALL injections to “better protect” the population. Now it is going onto beef and pork and soon into vegetables. Wife and I have decided we have to bite the bullet and buy only food that is locally produced and will get very expensive as more people are deciding to go that routs. and we are in Florida which is not great farming country.
My doctor asked me two years ago if I had had the vax then said I should get it. He was very perfunctory about it and when I said, “no,” he never said anything about it again. Same with statins.
He doesn’t need to actually run for re-election. His mules and Dominion and vote harvesters and Xerox will take the election for him. Republicans will get all huffy about people who question the integrity of the election
Not so much welfare as a kickback deal.
