Unfortunately, the Deep State dictates laws that they are INSTRUCTED to put in place/enforce/not-enforce/re-interpret, etc. by their Donors who pull the strings.
IF we had a REAL 2nd Party, instead of junior Democrats, they would pass legislation whereby NO GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE is paid, AND GETS NO BACK PAY, if there is a Govt. Shutdown.
Better still would be also including a non-Union RULE for Govt. employees, instead of the money-laundering-dues operation of those Unions, now.
