DeSantis super PAC 'Never Back Down' makes first ad buy for 2024

The super PAC supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for 2024 rolled out its first national ad Thursday.

Never Back Down, the super PAC supporting DeSantis’ unannounced prospective candidacy for the White House in 2024, released its ad publicly. The super PAC is spending at least $1 million to place the ad, which will be broadcast nationally beginning Monday.

"When the world went mad, we stood as a refuge of sanity," the ad states. "Whether forged in our upbringing, built on the belief to compete and win, or cemented in service to country."

"Across the country men and women willing to fight. Standing up for our children, their education, and a better future," the ad says. "Pushing back against the woke left and unleashing a next generation economy."

Multiple sources say the super PAC has the tacit blessing of DeSantis, who is currently sitting on the 2024 sidelines but is expected to launch a presidential campaign later this year, following the end of the Florida legislative session in May.

In an interview that ran recently on Fox Nation, the Florida governor said "stay tuned" when asked about his political future.

DeSantis is expected to hold a speaking event in South Carolina next week, making his first public appearance in the state that is key in the presidential primary cycle.

I speculate that Bobby Kennedy’s son will run after
Biden is pushed out of the way. Assuming no fraud do you think Trump or DeSantis can beat him? If there is any oxygen in the room after Trump’s indictment and arrest, DeSantis would beat Kennedy and not Trump. Just my speculation folks. Of course I would support and vote for either one in the general election; the country is at stake.

Never back down from a position you have taken after backing down.

he’s in danger of turning himself into a Ted Cruz.

DeSantis and Cruz do have one thing in common. They both know how it feels to be re-elected.

He’s destroying his future, with The Bushies leading him off the cliff.

Bushes get to try to:

1. take out Trump
2. Add Jeb to any Ron ticket (Jeb had extensive plastic surgery)
3. Destroy Ron’s future.

Any one or more is positive for the bushies.

Ron totally used and caught between his vanity and an overly ambitious wife.

I wrote a letter to my state senator Erin Grall telling her that I consider Ron DeSantis running for president at this moment to be bait and switch and I hope that she does not vote to allow him to run for president and be governor at the same time. It’s not fair to Florida. If he wants to quit, quit then run for president but you can’t do both.

But he’s got Tim Scott for competition.

Tim Scott is no competition at all, a Washington General.

Can’t really see that 2024 is the year for DeSantis. Maybe 2028.

You might be right. In that case, Biden wins in 2024.
