The depth of the infighting inside the Russian government appears broader and deeper than previously understood, judging from a newly discovered cache of classified intelligence documents that has been leaked online.
The additional documents, which did not surface in a 53-page set that came to wide public attention online last week, paint a picture of the Russian government feuding over the count of the dead and wounded in the Ukraine war, with the domestic intelligence agency accusing the military of obscuring the scale of casualties that Russia has suffered.
The new batch, which contains 27 pages, reinforces how deeply American spy agencies have penetrated nearly every aspect of the Russian intelligence apparatus and military command structure. It also shows that the breach of American intelligence agencies could contain far more material than previously understood.
In one document, American intelligence officials say that Russia’s main domestic intelligence agency, the Federal Security Service, or FSB, has “accused” the country’s Defense Ministry “of obfuscating Russian casualties in Ukraine.” The finding highlights “the continuing reluctance of military officials to convey bad news up the chain of command,” they say.

NOBODY in the ANG would have access to this intel.
These are NSA intercepts and their reporting never left WASH DC.
Jack Teixeira, a 21-year-old member of the Massachusetts Air National Guard.
I don’t trust DoJ not to simply pin the blame on someone random at 21 who couldn’t make any defense.
LOL!
An E-3, 21 year-old in the Air National Guard is accessing intercepted communications among the highest level Russian government officials
the MSM have outdone themselves this time.
The leaks are coming hot and heavy.
Nobody willing to stand up and say something for the record.
Why are the women officials fighting each other?
Well if a 21 year old had access to that king of information then he is not the only one that needs to answer for this.
I call BS!!
A lot of names on Putin’s kill list.
These second leaks are manufactured because the actual leaks were bad news. The second leaks also show “issues “ within China’s PLA and infighting in the Chinese Communist Party between Xi and the Shanghai 5 (which have been pretty much purged).
And I am far from a Russia or China fanboy.

I would guess that this kid is not going to have much of a public trial where he will be able to take responsibility for what he did, and deny what ever followed after. You’d have to say with this arrest, it’s basically a free-for-all regarding government approved information and misinformation.
Correct. This is a set up to cover up their own failures— and the “inside” information was definitely not from “penetration” of Russia and assets there. We are still pretty poor at faking the FSB and internal security. Witness a short while back the college kid caught with all kinds of gear (wig, spycam, burst microtransmitter etc.). Ryan Fogle in 2013, and ironically he was trying to pay for info from Chechnya which the Russians would gladly share, hating as they do islamofascists, etc. Got thrown out as 3rd Secretary of something at US Embassy.
bkmk
I agree. This wasn’t a “leak.” It was a “plant.” Misdirection. They (whoever “they” are, probably CIA) want somebody to believe a key part of it. It’s not clear to me who that might be. It probably contains 90% truth and 10% lies, but the lies are the part that count. Fascinating.
