The politicization of everything is too high a price for the gay-rights advances of the 2010s.
I sat in the Washington office of a major airline’s head of government relations, where we were joined by the top lobbyist for one of America’s largest hotel chains. It was 2013, and I was president of the gay conservative group Log Cabin Republicans. I had come to secure corporate support for the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, which would have banned discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. Pressure from leading corporations, I correctly assumed, would push waffling Republicans to vote for the legislation.

What business did airlines and hotel chains have weighing in on gay-rights legislation? None. In fact, doing so could even be bad business, as the lobbyist explained: “We already have a longstanding LGBT nondiscrimination policy, which actually puts us at a competitive advantage as a more appealing employer for gay people.”
“But count us in,” the hotel rep sighed. Avoiding the public flogging the company would take if it failed to support the bill was worth the cost of losing an edge in hiring. Months later, ENDA passed the Senate with the votes of 14 Republicans. (It never made it through the House.)
If the gay-rights movement in the U.S. didn’t ignite the trend of corporations taking stands on

Never advocate for hedonism.
I have always suspected the Log Cabin Republicans to be infiltrators.
confessions of a homo fascist.

It is appropriately called DIE. Diversity, Inclusion and Equity. The whole emphasis is on death of the culture. Destroy the country through cultural Marxism. You cannot have diversity without having perversity. You cannot have “inclusion” without excluding individuals or groups of individuals. Equity is simply sanctioned discrimination. You will hire or position individuals in positions based upon a self identifying checkbox on a form regardless to their qualification for the job position.
If you work in a corporation with all of this wokism you see it on a daily basis through the company communication. It is incessant messaging to support the DIE agenda.
Sounds like the guy is sorry for what he did...and he is working to turn the tide. I give him credit for that effort.
Thank you.
They are.
Apology not accepted, HomoNazi.
DEI is:
Discrimination Exclusion Intimidation of White people.
Wokeism is anti-God, and will be dealt with. Satan is the father of confusion, and he is doing a damn good job of it. Transism is right out of the pit, and the idea of confusing 5 year olds with what they are is heinous.
There’s the problem. Remember this: there is always a heterosexual Christian man to do any job that a faggot applies.
I am pretty sure that the acronym is DEI, the Latin word for to or of God. It always amazes me that no one ever mentions this.
Everybody sins in some fashion, and there is always some sin you wouldn’t want to be judged for before God’s throne. That is why Christ had to be executed in our place- none of us can rid ourselves of our sins by good works and going to church, and you don’t become sinless by being born again.
Meanwhile, every sinner needs to earn a living, regardless of their faith or antics, and if they can do the job as well or better than the next person, what they do on their off time shouldn’t matter, so long as they aren’t doing it in the company name or uniform. Unless you prefer some folks to be on disability or welfare?
IF I were still in a position of hiring & firing-—
ANY ad for a new employee would include the wording:
“MUST BE VERY EXPERIENCED FOR THIS POSITION & HAVE REFERENCES TO BACK UP CLAIMS OF SUCH EXPERIENCE. NO EXCEPTIONS.”
“Nothing is impossible”
“Win at any price/cost”
“Never give up”
Sometimes, people should consider that maybe what they’re doing isn’t WORTH succeeding. After all, the slopes of Everest are coated with people that were determined to never stop.
A key takeaway is that many Republicans put corporate cronyism above healthy values.
Good call....never let the Left define the terms.
