I’ve shot deer at fairly close range with both a 30-06 and 12 gauge 00 buckshot. In the former case, some serious holes were blown in the neck area, and hot breath was escaping as the deer struggled a bit. The latter usually look like they went to sleep.
Loves me some -06 at 100 plus yards, though.
Andrea just shows that she’s drunk the Kool-Aid on terminal ballistics. A raw steak is probably as close to mayhem as she’s ever been.
I once shot a deer at 100 yards with a 9mm Browning High Power weapon of war and blew both of its entire lungs out. Plus most a kidney of the deer that was standing a half mile behind it.
But I was using NATO 9mm, which was designed for war, not hitler's 9mm Lugar which was designed for hunting.
