The population will always continue to grow, at a greater or lesser exponential rate, unless a truly catastrophic event occurs, and even then, the numbers still rebound, unless annihilation is complete and total.
Cities should ignore flyover country and go net-zero within urban areas, where most Demonrats live. They have all the votes they need there. Cities do not produce food or energy, so nobody will starve. Cities will just continue turning into open air prisons for drug addicts, criminals, and illegal aliens.
The cool thing about all this modern junk is that as the policies fail because they defy basic economic principals or abandon their people (globalist agenda that is contrary to national interests), those in power (politicians and oligarchs) can blame:
-Over population
-Climate change
So, you can have a Jeff Bezos with Amazon working people in cages, part time, without benefits, and sourcing everything from China lecture us how we’re poor because of the climate and over population.
For a little while it was Covid, today it’s Putin a little bit also.
These are all fake/faux arguments that can’t truly be quantified or measured. They are a facades to justify political action or excuse the consequences of idiotic policies that otherwise cannot be justified using a true national security, economic or moral cause.
But... people believe the horse $hit.
Especially those that have a large social media presence, watch a lot of TV and/or MSM news, went to a public school and have a higher education.
Most higher ed degrees are worthless, but those that graduate with these degrees can quote you the philosophical basis of every pop culture social fad/trend with the lingo and all: privilege, triggered, patriarchy, LGBTQIA, racism, misogynist, sexist, climate change, social justice... In fact, they will be almost unable to withhold using these vapid ideas regardless of the topic discussed. You can talk about nearly anything, and somehow one of these ideas needs to be injected, sort of like an American movie with the black-white duo years past (1980s), homo nice guy (1990-2010), or today macho female (2010-present).
Ask someone with a business degree today to do basic accounting, or write a simple contract, tell you in the most basic terms what the FLSA is, and you’ll be shocked at how little they actually know.
