What you are saying doesn’t make any sense. You don’t like the idea of the American military fighting the Russians, but when a European country is willing to do it and is getting ready, you don’t like it either. Who should fight the Russians if they attack?

The polish armed forces are born again hard for the last year. They will be in moscow within a week of openly declared war against nato, quite honestly this is a good excuse for a bit of payback.

There’s not going to be a “total war with Russia” because Russia can’t even outright win in Ukraine in a timely fashion. How on earth would Russia fight Poland? The Russians would lose Kaliningrad in days or weeks and still have no easy way to get to Polish territory because Lukashenko would be crapping his pants. Seriously, look at a map. How would Russia even get to Polish territory? With what armies? What tanks? What air force?
