Three people have died across Israel and the West Bank in terrorist attacks as violence in the region continues.
An Italian tourist, 30, was killed and five others were wounded in a Tel Aviv car ramming attack on Friday, Israeli and Italian officials said.
It was the second deadly attack on Friday, after two British-Israeli sisters were killed when their car was shot up in the occupied West Bank.
An Israeli security source identified the assailant in the Tel Aviv attack as an Israeli Arab from the town of Kafr Qassem.
Police said an officer who was nearby arrived at the scene to find several people wounded and an overturned car near a popular promenade.
The officer "neutralised" the driver when he tried to pull a gun, they said. The car had veered off the street near a bike and walking path along the beach.
Video from shortly after the incident showed an overturned white car.

Kafr Qassem
On October 29, 1956, on the eve of the joint Israeli, French and British invasion of Egypt, Israel moved up the time of the local curfew as it was concerned that nearby Jordan would enter the fighting.[17] After the curfew started, a platoon of Israeli border police who had been sent to the area encountered and killed 49 villagers returning to Kafr Qasim from their work in the fields. Though the village head had been informed a half an hour before the military curfew started, he informed the Israeli commander that the fellahin and shepherds could not be notified in time that the curfew had been imposed.[18] The incident became known as the Kafr Qasim massacre. In October 2021, the President of Israel Isaac Herzog made an official apology for the 1956 massacre, on behalf of the state.[19]
The two Israeli sisters from the West Bank settlement of Efrat who were shot dead in a terror attack on Friday were named Saturday as 20-year-old Maia Dee, and 15-year-old Rina Dee.

The mother of the two British-Israeli sisters killed in the terrorist shooting attack in the Jordan Valley on Friday is still in critical condition, reports said Saturday.
The incident on Road 57 near Hamra junction was initially reported as a traffic accident, but an initial investigation found that the terrorists fired at the Efrat family’s vehicle, causing it to veer to the shoulder and crash. They then fired again at the car to ensure that they had hit those inside.
20-year-old Maya and 15-year-old Rina Dee were killed on the spot, while their mother Lea, 48, is in critical condition. Over 20 bullet casings were found at the scene.
Their father was driving in a separate vehicle ahead of them and arrived at the scene after rescue efforts had begun. The family was on its way to a holiday destination in Tiberias, reports said.
