Same here (30y). Non-feminist, strong Conservative women generally defer to the male, but it’s neither sexist nor egotistical:
It’s just the natural order. I’ve always gravitated to strong women, and they have always preferred a strong, manly man.
Regardless of whether one believes it’s God’s work or otherwise, it works; the alternative generally does not.
Weak, emotional (and sometimes abusive, usually liberal) men are cause for the ‘sexist’ critique, NOT ‘us’, and I’d just as soon put my boot in their face, especially ANY man who would hit/abuse a woman.
My wife says I never listen to her, at least I think that’s what she says.
No idea. Women don't come with instruction manuals. All you can do is twist the knob then duck!
Been with the same man for 40 years. My motto: keep his belly full, his ego boosted and his balls empty, and he will worship the ground you walk on.

Smart girl. I do what I have to do to provide and that often entails travel. It’s bad enough being in a lonely hotel without having to listen to someone complaining about when I am home.
My wife understands that and has never complained.
Now that I think about it, if I’m home for too long she asks when I’m going out of town again.

That is OUTSTANDING. Men, you need to be extremely CAREFUL about listening to YOUR WIFE when she tells you something. Does it conflict with what you believe/know God has told you?

Yeah. That is where the whole thing begins to fall apart.
Men are suppose to lead their families. Not society.
You lead the family and society follows. You try to lead society while leaving the care of the family to your wife, you have started a downhill trajectory.
The focus of both men and women should be the family, the home and the children. Everything else should come second to that.
But any number of men have abandon their duty to seek the dopamine hit that comes from having other people think that you are successful because you have certain possessions.
I know that is not going to be a popular idea around here but men need to learn to embrace their traditional role of husband and father if things are to straighten out.
