The only war Ukraine can win is the propaganda war.

Assuming this picture is honest and not photoshopped

Source is the Kremlin

this proves nothing other than Putin being in a large meeting room

Right, sitting 25 feet apart is nothing unusual.

What is missing is the fan that was set up to blow in Sergey Lavrov's direction to repel the Covid19 cooties. I am positive that there was one, but it was taken down for this photo. ......... During the heights of Covid mania, I went to an outdoors testing station. They had three large Industrial fans (48") blowing at me and away from the testing crew. Outdoors!!!

________

FReepers are the most skeptical people on earth. I have seen 10 or so photos of Putin sitting at his 30ft long Covid.xyz paranoia table. With another Rooosky honcho at the other end. In this case/your photo/ it was Sergey Lavrov.

Skepticism is warranted when the source is any mainstream media source.

The Russians lie. So do the Western nations. You can start with false stories of atrocities by the Boers in South Africa and the Spaniards in Cuba. Move forward to stories of Germans in World War I cutting off the hands of Belgian babies. Then the falsified Gulf of Tonkin attack, an excuse to involve America deeply into Vietnam. Let's not forget the fables of the Iraqis cutting off the incubators of Kuwaiti babies. Or the WMDs the Iraqis supposedly had.

You have cited great lies by various governments in collusion with the media. Can you cite any impressive truths from Governments? From the US government? Because "They" are not lying all the time. Or do you think they are?

The "they" are the U.S. and British governments and the news media closely aligned with those governments. By "closely aligned", I mean news media that support the foreign and domestic policy goals of those governments. That can be a two way street. Media influences government action, e.g., William Randolph Hearst telling his reporter respective to the Spanish in Cuba, "You furnish the pictures and I'll furnish the war." It can be the reverse as well. An example of this is Operation Mockingbird, where, in the 1950s through the 1970s, the CIA attempted to influence reporting and public opinion in the United States, beyond its mandate to operate overseas only.

Moving to current times, we have faced a veritable wall of lies from the U.S. government and the mainstream media, augmented by the tech giants, like Facebook, YouTube, Google, etc. As a sample of the constant stream of lies, we may note:

* Russian collusion in the 2016 U.S. election;
* Lies about Trump's personal and business affairs, e.g. Pissgate;
* Suppression of Clinton corruption, e.g., Hillary's private email server;
* Suppression of the corruption of the Biden family, such as the misuse by then VP Joe Biden of foreign aid funds to stop the Ukrainian government's investigation of Hunter Biden's activities and "10% for the Big Guy";
* Claims that the financial corruption, drug abuse, and sexual misconduct of Hunter Biden on the laptop he left at a Delaware repair shop were Russian disinformation;
* Assertions that the nationwide rioting that occurred after the death of George Floyd were mostly peaceful and justified;
* Conflation of the events of January 6th at the Capitol to the level of insurrection comparable to Pearl Harbor or the Civil War;
* Nonreporting of Federal agents, Washington police, and Antifa members on site on January 6th provoking the demonstrators to entering the Capitol and the standdown by the Capitol Police.

I have not even dealt with social issues like the promotion of sexual perversion, economic issues like the underreporting of the severity of the economic downturn, or the whole COVID fiasco. Then there is the Trump Derangement Syndrome that infests Big Tech, the legacy media, the Federal governments, blue state and city governments, and much of corporate America.

I see no reason to trust anything coming from the U.S. government and its media and tech allies.

Wallace laid out a long exposé of US deep state crimes/ outrages that I will not disagree with. So what are you going to do about it? Donald Trump tried. China and Russia have deep states that are much worse. The whole world is mostly run on a deep state basis. So where you gonna run too?

I see the USA as one of the least harmful places to live. We are not oppressing our farmers the way the Dutch government is trying to. You do not live in Russia, where Putin has banned dissent..... Though you can move there if the US is so awful
