President Donald Trump’s floundering presidential campaign got the shot in the arm it desperately needed.

Trump’s most ardent supporters and most his vocal critics, from Senator Mitt Romney to New York Times columnists, are condemning Trump’s indictment as an appalling political hit job. And the liberal news media – for all their handwringing over another Trump term – are more than happy to thrust him down America’s throats.
Trump is leading all newscasts and topping all the websites. Why? Because it garners Trump’s critics the fantastic ratings that they’ve been missing since he left office. Whether these left-wing talkers realize it or not – their attention elevates him. It makes him a martyr.
And all the sudden The Donald is back.
At Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday night, we witnessed Trump at his best. He was in his element standing before an adoring crowd and raging against an elite establishment that is out to get him by any means necessary. And they are.

From the get-go Ron DeSaintis is guilty of not supporting President Trump. I will not vote for Ron DeSaintis if he runs against President Trump for the sole fact that the last election was stolen from President Trump and as a nation, we cannot let that stand.
If Ron DeSaintis had any integrity at all he should be shouting that to the nation at every turn instead of acting like an opportunist lawyer chasing an ambulance. Oh that’s right, he is a shyster lawyer from Harvard Law. That’s where they teach Kentucky windage to gauge all things political. As much as I like DeSantis, I have to agree with you.
Defeating Trump in the primary is a longshot & by Florida law, DeSantis must resign the governorship to run. Trump might even be persuaded to choose DeSantis as his VP running mate, which would be a Dynamic Duo for sure.
However, while trying to be optimistic, I believe Trump will lose to the MSM, Trump haters, & election cheating, again.

Unlike you I can see that the scamdemic was out of President Trump's wheelhouse which caused him to rely on health professionals who turned out to be working against him.
Try to focus on the plethora of achievements President Trump had in his first term.

I don’t think DeSantis would reverse anything Trump did because Biden already has. He would have to reinstate those EO’s. As for MAGA legislation, DeSantis would have to convince Republicans to write MAGA legislation. They wouldn’t do it for Trump nor would they remove Obamacare.
My point, until DC republicans as a unit embrace MAGA, nothing will change.
It’s sad we spend so much time arguing about Trump/DeSantis without realizing how little power presidents have domestically. Presidents cannot tell states what to do. Congress writes/votes/passes legislation. They vote on judges and dept heads. They control the purse. The president’s job is to sell the product. Voters listened to Trump and stayed active. DeSantis does not have that appeal. If DeSantis wins the general, the presidency will mirror every other administration ‘ignored by the public’. MAGA will die because voters are no longer interested in government like so many decades thus far. And that is the reason it’s important to have Trump as a cheerleader. He loses, it’s all over.
I wish more folks here could see or understand how important this is. DeSantis can be MAGA to the hilt but Congress and bureaucrats will not comply. And DeSantis will not have the public pressuring these people to get on board. It will never work without the people. That’s the part DeSantis voters will not discuss. They believe he can persuade them to be MAGA. MAGA wouldn’t have sent billions to Ukraine or paid for Biden’s budget or infrastructure (climate change). They wouldn’t have voted for Biden’s disastrous dept heads. They could have stonewalled like the dems did to Trump for every nomination. Sure…..they’re going to turn MAGA for DeSantis……./sarcasm
As for winning, neither Trump or DeSantis will win the general. Our ground game for getting out the vote does not exist. Look into it. We need AZ, GA and WI to win. We lost WI yesterday. No election integrity legislation will survive the WI court.
We got here because republican voters never understood that the uniparty was playing ‘good cop bad cop’ for decades. We can only change this by forcing most DC rep into a primary……clean out the democrats in our own party. Until then, nothing will change regardless of who’s head cheerleader.

I don’t think the uniparty wants a war and neither do voters. Society is too complacent. The uniparty wants no cheerleaders for the people. That’s why they hate Trump. No other leader has had a more engaged public. Granted, there are as many that hate him as there are that love him. The uniparty saw the growing enthusiasm for Trump 2016 and they started the mass psychosis to counter the love for him. It worked.
McCain needs to relax because it doesn’t matter when DeSantis announces his fool’s errand.
