Answer: Republican voters.
Democrats are playing Republicans like a fiddle. The left’s sole objective is to make Trump the Republicans’ 2024 presidential nominee. He’s already lost three election cycles for the GOP — why not make it four?
A month ago, things were looking bad for the Democrats.
Immediately after Trump announced for president last November, he may as well have gone into the witness protection program. Even Fox News cut away from his announcement speech. He had to have dinner with a noted Hitler enthusiast to get any attention, and, when he spoke at CPAC in February, the room was half-empty.
Looming before them was the threat from Florida: Gov. Ron DeSantis. He was beating Trump in the presidential polls without even announcing. He’d scored victory after victory against Democrats and won his reelection bid — in a purple state! — by 20 points, despite attacks from Trump.
Against DeSantis’ smarts and energy, the Democrats would be running President Senile Dementia and a vice president whose sole credentials are that she is black and a woman.
They had only one hope: Get Trump the nomination. Liberals: HE’S A DANGER TO THE NATION! NEVER HAVE WE FACED SUCH PERIL! Now let’s do everything we can to make sure he gets the nomination.
And that’s why Democrats indicted Trump on absurd charges this week, with the media covering the event like it was the capture of Osama Bin Laden. Today, the party mandarins are sitting around laughing as Republicans trip over themselves to defend Trump.

The stupidity of pundits in this country is getting alarming. Now, the current thinking among the deep-thinkers is that the democrats are trying to utterly destroy Trump in order to make him the nominee because they just know that he can be easily defeated.
Okay, Ann, why did the democrats do the exact same thing in 2015 and 2016 and not come out winners?
And if she thinks the befuddld old codger got 81 million votes in 2020 she needs to be committed.
And DeSantis have NEVER bested Trump in the polls. Where in the hell does she get her stuff?
Ann Coulter has certainly lost her freaking mind. She reminds me of Philip Wylie’s characterization of certain women — their urine will etch glass.
Let’s see Ann get in the Arena, and see how she does.
😂😂😂 why is he going to get clobbered? Hes by far the most popular candidate and by all accounts Biden will be his foe. The only thing that stops Trump is the lefts industrial ballot manufacturing system…. And i hate break it to you… all GOP candidates will fall victim to it unless its disabled.
The GOP is now galvanized against Bragg and will continue to be so as long as this nonsense continued. The GOP lost the senate because idiots days before the elections, shortly after a huge SC victory , decided that talking about nationwide abortion bans being on the horizon was a good idea, just what young folks and independents want to hear…. Oh yea…. There were the votes bought with unconstitutional lies about college debt forgiveness …. But oh yes… Drumfp, right?

Nearly a million Democrat "voters" disappeared in Florida between 2018 and 2022.
The "Fight Like A Democrat" Party laid down in Florida in 2022 - the party that NEVER quits. SURE it did.
He's the most popular candidate among the base but he's going to need more than the base to win re-elections. He's going to need all those independent voters, swing voters, and even former Obama voters who came on board in 2016 and then abandoned him for Biden in 2020.
And they're not coming back, as evidenced by not only 2020 but the almost universal decimation of his handpicked midterm candidates in the swing states that he will need to flip back in 2024.
And Biden is going to clean his clock again. Indeed, Trump is likely the only GOP candidate that Biden will beat which is why the Democrats are so desperate to see Trump at the top of the ticket.
And you all are falling for it.
I can tell you right now that there isn't an establishment GOP candidate on the horizon who is going to do the same thing.
We are going to go back to the days when the national GOP wrote off Rust Belt states like Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Except now they no longer have solid footholds in a number of other states, either.
Go back to the 2000 election -- which was the last one where the GOP candidate won the popular vote. Since that time, the GOP has picked up Iowa (6 electoral votes in 2024) plus one EV in Maine, while losing its grasp on a bunch of others. These include:
Arizona (11 EVs)
Colorado (10 EVs)
Nevada (6 EVs)
New Hampshire (4 EVs)
Virginia (13 EVs)
Picking up eight electoral votes in Texas and five in Florida (through population shifts) doesn't come close to making up for this enormous gap.
I gave her comments thoughtful consideration...then I pulled the flush handle.
Go back to the 2000 election -- which was the last one where the GOP candidate won the popular vote.
Thanks for the effort Ann but we are not going back to the eGOP.
If true, that's because Trump is the only candidate who will be publicly opposed by prominent Republican political figures.
That right there ought to tell you everything you need to know about why the Republican Party is facing an existential crisis. They've sold out their own constituents for so long that they can't win elections for as long as they hitch their wagons to their big-money financial backers.
