The Russians may view this as a version of Verdun. Bleed the enemy dry in a battle of attrition. Just don’t lose too many friendlies in exchange.

And how did that work out for the Germans? Dumb, they should have just bypassed Verdun and made the beeline for Paris.

There was no beelining for Paris because at the time the trench lines were very well developed. The intent of the attacks were attrition of French manpower, and that would be obtained by threatening an objective which was almost sacrosanct to the French. They could not give up the town and so they had to stand, fight and bleed.

When Bakhmut falls what will you say then? I’m still wrong?

I’ve been saying that since the Russians have mostly surrounded Bakhmut.

From what I have leaned that taking inches a day was done on purpose in Bakhmut. The Russians’ goal is to grind down the Ukrainian army slowly. From everything I’ve learned about the battle for Bakhmut that’s exactly what it has been. One big meat grinder.

Again, the Russians have captured between 5/8ths and 2/3rds of Bakhmut. Not much time before it is captured.

If you look at the LiveUAmap battle map you’ll notice that Avdiivka is also surrounded. Does that mean the Russians are losing there, too? What will you say when that city is taken?

Who’s been more correct about the trends of this conflict? The US and NATO propaganda organs or the Russians?

Igor Girkin:

"Unfortunately, the situation on the contact line, which the media glosses over in every possible way, has an extremely negative impact on the situation throughout the country.

I'm not afraid to say that we are heading towards military defeat"...

We entered a long, protracted war for which our economy was completely unprepared. Our army and political system were not ready for it either."

LOL, right Russians on purpose decided that they didn't want to pull off some blitzkrieg maneuver surrounding large parts of Ukraine's army, instead they decided it made sense to get into a WW1 style trench warfare. Ridiculous

The war was done before the Obama/Soros gang running Ukraine brought in their globalist thug, NATO. The Russians have fought NATO to a stalemate.

Your usual revisionist BS. Out of fuel, out ammo, out of generals, out of troops, yada, yada, yada. You’re not dealing with some globalist boob following the ever changing government/media narrative. You might be able to influence the weaker minded over at your media masters’ feeding trough, not me. I remember the crap you administration operatives have been peddling around here for the last year. Man, you were pushing the ridiculous line that the Russians were out of ammo as recently as last month. Feel free to shovel it in some other direction.

Slick, why don’t you find a quote from ME saying this is over. You can’t! As I’ve said always, a quagmire or your globalist handlers turning this into WWIII. You’re miserable at lying misdirection. Work on it.

A quick victory Russia v the Ukes. A quagmire, Russia v the Ukes and the best NATO has. And the North Koreans fought NATO to a standstill, right? Forget the Chinese. The Ukes fought Russia to a stalemate, forget the the largest offensive military behemoth the world has ever seen. Work on it. Your BS is actually regressing.

The military that spends 1/20th what NATO does, fights it to a stalemate. You have got to do better to keep my interest.

All the reporting was accurate, when reports of ammo running low came they were followed by a reduction of ammo usage and the seeking to purchase from other countries, when the supply of missiles was reported as getting low, it was followed by reduced usage of missiles and substitutions, when terrible troop losses were being reported the Russians started desperately seeking more men, when armor losses were reported high, ancient tanks were taken out of storage, and on and on.

Don’t you notice it when it is reported that Russia is running short of artillery shells and then they go from 60,000 a day to 20,000, and then lower as they search the world of evil friends for more?

Everything you deny was real and actually happening.

When was the last time you remember Russia looking like it was seriously attacking Ukraine and dominating the battlefields?

NATO isn’t even in this fight.

Russia is fighting against Ukraine - not against NATO. There are no NATO soldiers on the ground or in the air fighting Russia.

And Russia is losing to Ukraine - it had captured 27% of ukraine on March 15th, 2022 and now controls less than 15% —> that is Russia losing to Ukraine.

If Russia were fighting NATO, it would have lost in a far shorter time.

” the best NATO has”

NATO isn’t even in the fight - Ukrainians are fighting. Mainly with Soviet era weapons, but also older NATO weaponry - definitely NOT “the best NATO has” - more like surplus old stuff from NATO that is NOW going to Ukraine

NATO isn’t in this war —> it is Russia losing to Ukraine —> and Russia lost to Ukrainians using older weapons in Feb/March 2022
