Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is running for president as a Democrat, according to paperwork filed Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission.
Kennedy Jr. has not yet made a formal announcement. In a pinned post on his Twitter profile dated March 10, he directed supporters to the website TeamKennedy.com, which states it is funded by an exploratory committee.
“If it looks like I can raise the money and mobilize enough people to win, I’ll jump in the race,” he wrote then.

In 1968, Robert F. Kennedy (the father) filed to run and LBJ dropped out, the Democrats lost in the November election to Richard Nixon.
In 1980, Edward M Kennedy (Teddy, the uncle) filed to run against Jimmy Carter, tore the party apart and the Democrats lost in the November election to Ronald Reagan.
In 2024, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. files to run against Joe Biden…will history repeat?

I don't believe the Kennedy name carries the same influence it had 40-60 years ago. You would have to be a Baby Boomer or older to remember the family and its influence. To Generation X and younger, the most they may recall is the scandals around the younger Kennedys. RFK, Jr., is an anti-vaxxer and runs with conspiracists, positions anathema to most leftists. I don't think he will have a chance in the primaries, even against Biden.

Trump is a man of peace. RFK Jr would wage World War III against Big Pharma, the FDA, and the CDC. I wish that Presdient Trump had offered him a job in 2017, as the rumors said he might.

I think he is better than Biden too. RFK Jr works for an ambulance chasing law firm. Biden has always been a sleazy corrupt politician. At least RFK Jr hasn’t been at the public trough for decades like Biden has.
