Do you have a solution? If so, what is it?

Not for the future. Trump and the stupid/cowardly gop ruined that for us.

All I can say is: Prepare.

Yep. I think there needs to be an electoral college at the state level for all statewide elections.

The voting age needs to be raised to 25, as does the drinking age.

Voting should only be done by property owners, and those with legally licensed and bonded businesses. I think they’re the only ones that really have skin in the game.

Do not accept foreign money for political elections and do not accept political contributions from people with dual citizenships.

Do not accept corporate contributions.

Large metropolitan areas are dictating the direction of this country and have been at the state level for decades. The people who live in rural areas have been disenfranchised for many years.

I don’t even know if it’s legal, but short of a mass extinction event, it’s the only solution that I can come up with. It might just be more of a mental exercise though.

I sometimes wonder if a 3 tiered bicameral parliamentary system would work. But simply obeying law, code and statutes would be refreshing for a change.

The only solution is a national divorce. We cannot be bound to a whore.
