Incorrect. The indictment cites NY Penal Law ยง 170.10. Total BS.
The indictment makes the bizarre claim that Trump defrauded the public of information they were entitled to know.
By that measure, a political candidate defrauds the public simply by coloring his or her hair.
That law, to be a felony, requires that there be a separate crime committed, and that the misdemeanor 170.10 second degree be used to cover up the second crime. The indictment omitted the secondary crime supposedly committed, and DA Bragg insists that doesn’t have to be divulged at this point.
