READ: Trump indictment and statement of facts
The Hill ^

Posted on 04/04/2023 1:32:24 PM PDT by FarCenter

The statement of facts is more informative than the indictment.

If Trump had simply written Daniels a check for $130K from his personal funds there would be no case.

But that's not how the payment was made.

Repeated infidelity is not a conservative value.”

Trump was never a conservative.

It is interesting how you quibble with the definition of “conservative” while ignoring repeated acts of infidelity.

The agreement could have been an oral agreement.

“The agreement could have been an oral agreement.”

True but he is relying on his “star” witness, Attorney #1.

You have no proof, in fact, Daniels said she had no affair with Trump. Affairs are not conservative nor are they liberal. Drop the BS you peddle as though you are some high and mighty saint.

People mess up. In fact, many presidents had affairs. How many of those people in Congress and Governors offices are hiding affairs?

Does the law require a retainer agreement or does a verbal agreement suffice?

Also, don’t retainer agreements exist to make sure the lawyer gets paid, so it’s on the lawyer to get one, not the client.

I don’t see how a lack of retainer agreement would be a falsification of records on the part of the client who made a verbal agreement to a monthly fee.

You miss the main point. Cohen, Attorney #1, is Bragg’s star witness.

Bragg’s star witness is a convicted perjurer, advantage of the he said/he said should go to the defendant.

That’s it?

How could a jury indict him when none of the articles of indictment state any specific facts?

Also, Bragg doesn’t even claim the alleged facts and events occurred in New York County. He repeatedly states “New York County or elsewhere”. That’s total bull shit. If he can’t prove beyond a reasonable doubt that any particular allegations did not occur in New York County, that charge must be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.

Trump was not a Christian when he may or may not have committed adultery. There has be no who has accused him of adultery since he accepted Christ as his Savior.

Drop the BS you peddle as though you are some high and mighty saint.

After having multiple affairs, it is hoped that your spouse uses that line on you.

But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul. Proverbs 6:32

Really stupid individuals somehow believe that being a Christian means you’re always ‘faithful’.....that’s just not true.

There is no law that says that a lawyer has to pass expenses onto his client. The lawyer could agree to eat some expenses. Isn’t that what happened here? Also, why isn’t getting an NDA out of a pest “legal services.”?

I’d be very careful if I were you....Isaiah 64:6 speaks of the righteousness of the people as filthy rags in the sight of God.....Self-Rightousness is not a coat you should be wearing.
