Until proven otherwise the FIBs executed the man after fabricating charges against him. There is zero reason to believe anything the FIBs say and they have demonstrated the lengths they will go to lie about their victims. A pox on all of them.

So how does this “crime” warrant a DEATH SENTENCE carried out by the FBI?? The CRIME that carries with it a Death Penalty - He was wanted on charges of failure to appear, fraud, theft of funds and falsifying records.
I wish everyone would understand that every offense, down to jaywalking and parking tickets, is a capital offense depending on the degree a person is willing to resist legal authority.
All governmental authority is at the point of a gun.

Just like they reviewed the Branch Davidian deaths. The FIB never fired one shot into that compound. Then a FLIR video came out showing them shooting automatic weapons at the people in the house. The FIB continued to claim no shots were fired.

I assume he was Republican, considering that he was Hogan’s Chief of Staff, and Hogan is a (nominal) Republican.
