Over a 33-year career I had to deal with several federal offices. The lack of general knowledge and specialized knowledge was almost always evident. In every case I would outline whatever the requirement or issue was. If anyone said anything I’d point out that perhaps not everyone in the room, meaning those who were not the government “subject experts” is where I was pointing out the facts.

My brother-in-law who is a very high ranking officer in one of our military services tried to explain to me why he was requiring all of his subordinates to be injected with the “vaccines” and all of the boosters. He would accept no excuses and there were no legitimate objections, no exemptions or any circumstances that made any difference to him. He said that people who were more qualified than he had made this decision and he had no interest at all in any discussion that questioned this.

That my friends, is the type of person that has been advanced to high levels in our officer corps these days. Formerly I was proud that he had made it to such a high level, but I basically have lost all respect for him in the past few years. We now have losers in charge who care for more about parroting woke idealism than the wellbeing of our military personnel or winning wars. He of course also said that “climate change” was the most daunting challenge that our military now faces.
