Didn’t the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant get shut down anyway due to crumbling foundation and other issues at a later date.
One of them did.

The taxpayer-paid employees of the EPA have no authority to amend the Commerce Clause of the U.S. Constitution.

This should be interesting considering the massive deep water ports in California. Oregon is going to upgrade one port for large vessels (surely to be stopped by the radicals) and Washington has their ports.

Mexico can make a fortune if California really does this. All Mexico will have to do is upgrade Ensenada and build a massive road to Arizona. That is if the cartels will let them.

“The San Onofre plant was shut down in 2013”

Not related to a seismic fault.

Time for a nationwide truckers boycott of deliveries to and from California.

here is the problem california has with groups like the following:

Paul Cort, a lawyer with environmental nonprofit Earthjustice.

“We have a vehicle problem,” Cort said. “We’re addicted to our cars and trucks, and that’s a big cause of the air pollution that we’re fighting.”

“We don’t just fight for California, we fight for all of the communities,” said Jan Victor Andasan, an activist with East Yard Communities for Environmental Justice.

and this nuget:
California activists Andasan and Brenda Huerta Soto, an organizer with the People’s Collective for Environmental Justice, are troubled by the impact of pollution from trucks and other vehicles on communities with a large population of residents of color that live near busy ports in Los Angeles, Oakland and other cities as well as warehouse-dense inland areas.

Huerta Soto works in Southern California’s Inland Empire, where a high concentration of trucks pass through to transport goods. On top of truck pollution, the many cars, trucks and trains that travel through the area burden residents with noises, odors and pollutants these vehicles emit, she said.

“We have the technology, and we have the money” to move toward zero-emission vehicles, she said.

I used to live in Moreno Valley, right by Riverside. My pulmonologist is still treating me for lung damage decades after I moved away.

And I'm not the one who wants to see everyone in public transportation in California. I don't live there anymore.

"I wonder what’s the carbon footprint of a team of horses."

Don't know, but they exhaust carbon dioxide 24 hours per day.

Reefer trucks won’t be needed once we are forced to eat bugs instead of real food.
