CA flee-ers explains why GA is #1 in film production and why we have 2 Dem senators. I wouldn’t live within 100 mi of Atlanta.
“They are flocking to red states. You will know them by their masks. Spreading the cancer of progressivism.”
Exactly. Part of the plan to turn red states blue.
Bills for reparations will send even the poor away.
Already achieved with '40 acres and a mule'.
Lotta poop in Lassen.
Migration always destroys. All the red states will fall in time.
Soon The only people in Frisco will be Homeless, illegals and black people looking for a handout reparations. Go ahead and nuke it Putin—might improve the place. LA TOO.
This will for SURE make the portfolio of great successes of Gavin Newsome and awesome bio profile to get elected.
They can check out any time they like.
Every state has enclaves of sanity - i.e. “R districts”. We live in one in GA. MSM always portrays our Rep. Majorie Taylor Greene as a “nut-job”-”extremist”, etc. but she’s just fine imo. Any R moving to another state should look for similar “R-nutjob” districts.
California has the highest number of illegal aliens in the country. Pew estimated the number to be 2+ million in 2016. We can only imagine what that figure is today.
Bottom line: Sane people are leaving California in droves and illegal aliens are replacing them by the millions.
Lack of jobs, probably, and not high crime as implied in the headline. Anyway, the only reason Lassen County is mentioned is that it has a high percentage of people moving out, but the percentage is high because there weren't all that many people in the county to begin with. 7.5% of the 2020 population is fewer than 2,500 people. Many more people are moving out of the large cities.
We used to go to DragonCons up to the early 00s.
That was the only reason to visit Atlanta. I got burned out on the whole thing and haven’t been back since.
500-700k people lost. That’s one electoral vote. No big deal when you have to wait 10 years to benefit. Now if Greater Idaho were joined by Jefferson. Perhaps. a tax strike.
Nope. The people fleeing are very conservative. We left. Lots of our conservative friends are leaving
We are more conservative than lots of people we meet in Arkansas
I see many Cali license plates here in Texas
1. Excess taxation and regulation - gas here is over $5.00/gallon again. Housing costs are exorbitant (until the crash, that is).
2. Hostile to businesses - unbelievable how many businesses have fled this state, lots and lots of empty buildings.
3. Over-run by illegals and other Democrat voters who have turned this state solid-blue.
Beware: Gov. Newsom is making the rounds right now of Red States to push the Commie agenda nation-wide that he has implemented in California - and is exactly what is causing productive people to flee.
Democrats will run him for POTUS in 2028, he will win unless vote fraud is taken care of - and he WILL implement his policies nation-wide.
Why are people leaving Lassen?
Move a dozen or so miles east and escape income tax and soooo much more!
Pro tip: don't do a 1031 exchange unless you really, really want to file 540 California state tax returns every year for 5 years and once more should you sell your new digs, or horrors! convert it to another use.
Even 20 or 50 years down the road you'll have to file one more 540 form so California can "CLAW BACK" their words, not mine, your tax savings!
California’s becoming a third world hellhole - the small very rich elites and much larger numbers of almost subhuman type creatures living on the streets pooping on sidewalks after shooting up. Millions of illegals ... and sexual weirdos selling their creepy kinks.
Yeah, the middle class is leaving in droves... and that’ll make what’s left worse. When the National Divorce comes - California can be the Progressive US capitol...
