Cohen was looking at 50 years in prison for things that did not involve Trump like tax issues and a taxi medallion scam. The first seven counts against him and the most serious Donald Trump isn’t even talked about. All I got to say is if you are waiting for politicians who are perfect you’ll be waiting a very very very long time babbleon your hero George W Bush literally lied a country into war that got 50,000 soldiers killed all to get revenge for his daddy

All we can ascertain at this point is that this particular ham sandwich has 34 slices of pure baloney.

The only way a person can be stopped from running for President (outside of not meeting the Article 2 requirements) is if they have been impeached and found guilty - thus being barred from holding office. Being a convicted, even an imprisoned felon does not bar you from running for President. (Could make serving difficult, if imprisoned.)

In this case, the law is an ass.

And Bragg is an even bigger ass.

And whats even better, Trump has a civil action of misprison of prosecution against the State of New York for which they will have to pay millions of dollars. And not only that, the claim of misprison can be brought in the federal courts not those of New York state.

Trump should initiate that suit in federal court immediately, with both Bragg in his personal capacity and the State of New York as defendants in a civil case.

This is the reason that the indictment has not been unsealed yet, because it will give President Trump a federal case of misprison of prosecution.

And an injunction granted to Trump would stay the indictment and any subsequent process. And whats more Trump could chose a federal court in Florida to initiate the suit.

Whenever Dems say that no one is above the law, they ONLY say that because they know that they are above the law..always have been and always will be..they know they can cheat, steal, kill, do whatever the hell they bloody please and NO ONE will stop them. The GOP took control of Congress in Jan, I read tweet after tweet from MTG about “Impeaching Biden” just tweeting, NOT actually doing it..yes it would fail in the senate but in the house it would pass notice they still have not done it..they never will its all damn talk

I am going to get tired of the "No man is above the law" meme very quickly.

My response so far has been "Abusing law as a political weapon is beneath contempt".

Guilty until proven innocent...

By now everyone and I mean EVERYONE can clearly see that this is nothing to do with justice and everything to do with eliminating a political rival. This is EXACTLY what fascist govt's do. Everyone sees it! Everyone knows it. There's no hiding any more. The DOJ and the FBI has been weaponized by the liberal left deep state to be used for their political agenda. This should terrify EVERYONE. Anyone who is not very alarmed by whats been going on since Summer of 2020 until now is either a socialist supporter (think National Socialist Workers Party) or deaf, dumb, and blind.

It is not a broken legal system. There is no legal system.

Political prosecutions and show-trials are the feature of the extremist Marxist Communist Progressive paramilitary Brandon Junta.

The Trials aginst anyi-Bolsheviks are an exact match for what happened to those duped by FBI in J-6 and also for the FBI and NY AG phoney political assaults against the person and freedom of President Trump.

They want their base to think they are destroying Trump. They are not. What they have destroyed is the American system of government. This Republic is dead.

Now we have show-trials against political leaders. It never ends without violence, when governments disintegrate. In fact, armed struggle has already commenced. Mostly peaceful, right?

That is why the all-fired rush to grab your guns is on.

Flaws or not, a hand-picked uber liberal jury will sit in the courtroom of a hand picked uber liberal judge and the kangaroo court will convict Trump in plenty of time to make him ineligible for the ballots as a convicted felon. The appeals will then be slow walked past election day. AZ, GA, PA, MI and WI pull the same stunts they pulled in 2020 and 2022 to hold their firewall and whomever the GOP puts up will NOT get 270 or more electoral votes.

Remember when Slow Joe campaigned from the basement and we thought he was going to get beaten (he did in reality)? They knew the fix was in. They know it this time to. So “critical flaws” in the indictment matter none.

Good points.... Leftist do not rule on the law, they rule on what they want things to be.

Yes, the fix is in, the left is this embolden because they know the fix is in and have nothing to lose.

The Nazi biatch and wife of the Cauliphonya action hero, Hammerhead, has her wires crossed. ONE IS INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. You don’t have to prove you’re innocent. It’s the other side’s job to prove you guilty. It would seem like Nancy should have known that. I guess she’s really ditzy after all.

Response letter from Bragg to Jim Jordan:

“Like any other defendant, Mr. Trump is entitled to challenge these charges in court and avail
himself of all processes and protections that New York State’s robust criminal procedure
affords.”

entitled to challenge? It’s up to the prosecution to prove him guilty......
Again.....guilty until proven innocent !

“in plenty of time to make him ineligible for the ballots as a convicted felon”

Convicted felons are ineligible to vote, but not ineligible to run for President.

There’s literally nothing, short of giving Trump a lethal injection, that state prosecutors can do to stop him from running for President.

They’ll certainly try.

But just because they make that motion doesn’t mean it will succeed.

I figured they would throw curveballs at President Trump. We also have no idea what the deep state might have manufactured like they did the russia dossier.
I expect to hear novel charges testified to by plants and far more than this stormy daniels thing.

Two damning authoritarian tells from Pelosi:

Damning authoritian tell #1: "...the right to a trial to prove his innocence."

We are innocent until proven guilty.

Damning authoritarian tell #2: "...respect the system, which grants him that right."

We the People are endowed with inalienable rights. It is the role of Government to observe, respect, and protect them. Powers are granted to the Federal Government by the will of the People. Not the other way around.
