Hundreds of people gathered outside the Tennessee state Capitol in Nashville Thursday morning to rally for gun control in the wake of the deadly shooting earlier this week at the Covenant School.
Beginning at 8 a.m. local time, the demonstration drew a large crowd wielding signs and chanting, “What do we want? Gun control! When do we want it? Now!”
A live feed from FOX 17 showed the protesters ascending the steps of the Capitol as choral music played in the background.
The event drew demonstrators of all ages, including parents with young children in strollers and students in school uniforms.
One attendee hoisted a sign reading, “My nieces and nephews deserve better,” while another urged, “Do better, Tim,” referring to Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.), who said of the Nashville shooting, “We’re not gonna fix it.“

This is where the FBI should be handing out those forms removing their rights to own a firearm and convincing these people to sign them.
I agree that we need more gun control and people need to spend more time at the gun range.

...totally agree....! I practice gun control every time I go to the range....also good sight picture, recoil recovery, you name it....truth to tell, these people havn’t a clue about what it is they are yelling and screaming about...
A real “insurrection” against the Americans Bill of Rights. FJB and the FIBBIES need to give gun owners a little of their human rights protection.

These people are so transparent and predictable. Never let a crisis go to waste. “Selling 101”. They are not peddling a solution; they are selling you something that will hook you to the government tit forever and exacerbate crime under the guise of a “solution.”

I bet less than a couple of dozen are from Nashville or even Tennessee for that matter.
So the hundreds of activists show up to protest while the thousands of gun owners are working. That’s nice.
I’d respect this “protest” by kids more if they stopped shouting and actually presented a rational proposal. An assault weapons ban is not a solution.
