New frontier: Russia rethinking where it will build roads, 'not interested' in Europe

Cargo flows and international transport corridors running through Russia’s territory are being adapted to the new environment, Chairman of Avtodor State Company Vyacheslav Petushenko said in an interview with TASS.

"Logistics corridors have changed as we are not very interested in Europe for today, but we are interested in the relationship and those cargoes that go between Russia and China," he said. "Moreover, we discussed trade through China with Southeastern and Central Asia. This information should be gathered and analyzed to understand what needs to be done," Petushenko added.

Some previously planned projects are now being rethought, Avtodor Chairman noted. "It should be said that the prospects for supply corridors and transport flows have now changed considerably. For example, last year we completed a feasibility study for the Meridian project (project on the construction of a highway from China to Europe, with a separate section to run through Russia - TASS). However, in the current environment we consider certain stages of the project from the viewpoint of development of inter-regional ties," he explained.

“Surprise, Surprise, Russia adapts and builds.”

And maybe someday they’ll finish their 20+ year project to make the M7 motorway into an actual expressway instead of just a glorified four lane road complete with cross streets, stop signs, and intersections.

“The tide is turning against Zelenskyy. When he spoke to Austria’s parliament a large number of PMs walked out. It is time to consider a peace deal. End the suffering and killing of the Ukraine people. Who are we saving?”

The distance from Moscow to Beijing by road is 4,500 miles. Australia is 2,500 miles from coast to coast. Might be a big project.

Full trade relations and cultural exchanges between China and Russia has long been the screaming nightmare of the British Empire and its MI6/Bank of England/British East India Company psychopaths, since the dawn of the Industrial Revolution. The unified geopolitical raw materials extraction and distribution strategy of Russia, China and the other signators to the BRICS infrastructure development bank signals the death of the modern financial Moloch that curses this corner of the Universe.

Is that like the California High Speed Rail 20 year + project that hasn’t moved a single passenger a single inch, but cost 105 Billion already, Megs?

Probably is a big project, however they won’t be wasting money on a European extension, so it’ll probably pay off.

Sorry, Megs, I misquoted the CA Rail costs, it’s actually 128 Billion that Ukraine won’t get.
