In the past, when there have been a number of nationally reported incidences of such accidents, memos go out,and additional inspections procedures are put in place, because the company owner’s and leaders want to remove the spotlight from their industry. There is then a reduction in such accidents at least for a few months. We are not seeing that in the current instances of train derailments.

Warren Buffetts trains carry oil in rail cars on two thing rails at much higher cost instead of the very much safer pipeline and much lower cost called the Keystone pipeline that was cancelled due to bribes.

Slow the trains down; they now run at 70 miles per hour and the bearings and axle assemblies were never designed for that speed when loaded.
