The executive director of the San Jose Police Officers’ Association (SJPOA) has been charged with attempting to illegally import a controlled substance, according to the United States Department of Justice. Joanne Marian Segovia, 64, is accused of ordering thousands of opioids to her home and agreeing to distribute them in the United States.
A federal criminal complaint states that Segovia used her personal and office computers to order the drugs between October 2015 and January 2023, including fentanyl. At least 61 shipments were mailed to her home from countries including Hong Kong, Hungary, and India, the DOJ said.
“This is an incredibly disturbing allegation. No one is above the law, regardless of who their employer is. I want to thank U.S. Attorney Ramsey and his colleagues for aggressively pursuing the sources of fentanyl coming into our communities and holding drug-dealers accountable.,” San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan said in a statement to KRON4.

Money, works every time.
Trump was right.
Drug trafficers should be executed.
Fry her!
Naaaaah, Just give her a few of her own pills.
Dittos
I’m fascinated by the Hungarian connection.
She obviously spends some of her ill-gotten gains at the spa. Doesn’t help when you’re ugly inside.
This is going to look bad on her permanent record.
Were her prices reasonable?
Is there an Online Store/Website to order fentanyl in bulk??, or do you have to go thru Hunter Biden to make the arrangements??
I just looked at her Facebook page and the Director just got back from a nice vacation in Mexico. Must be nice!
Plata o plomo?

Well, it works a lot of the time anyway. Some folks are incorruptible. Others of course can be bought, if the price is right.
And thanks to Biden, the Democrat Party, and the GOPe we will be seeing more and more of this. Much of our country will become something like Mexico is today.
“Do yo know the way to San Jose”.....
“It is a matter of life and death for anyone foolish enough to take this poison.”
For the ones who are foolish enough to take it, I have no sympathy and I’m comfortable with death for them. It’s the unsuspecting people whose regular meds, snacks, etc., have been contaminated who I feel sorry for. What has this world become?
Wanna bet that she’ll claim that a boyfriend/relative used her computer without her knowledge?
Won’t help but it is likely.
> Fry her! <
Yep. It’s a funny thing (sickening, actually). Singapore executes a drug trafficker and the whole world goes nuts. The Pope, the UN, heads of state, everybody strongly objects.
But when some poor, weak kid dies in the gutter from a drug overdose, no one cares.
Seems to me like the big shots have it backwards.
