Former President Donald Trump bashed Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) as “ignorant and foolish” on Wednesday for his attitude toward Russia, a posture Trump believes “makes it impossible to negotiate peace.”
At the top of the video, Trump referenced DeSantis’s comments from an interview last week with Fox Nation’s Piers Morgan. DeSantis told the British commentator that Russia is “basically a gas station with a bunch of nuclear weapons,” a sentiment that echoed the rhetoric of failed 2012 Republican presidential candidate Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) and failed 2008 GOP presidential candidate late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), as Breitbart News reported.

I would add that Trump was NOT afraid for decent reasons, like scared for Americans fate or anything so trivial to him.

Every informed individual is well aware of the Dis of Russia stated by RINO’s McCain and Romney. Desantis’ copycat of that Dis is amateur hour.
Completely unhelpful in any attempt to diffuse hostilities in the region. President Trump realizes this fact fully and stated this fact.
As numerous Never-Trumper financiers have recently worried, Desantis is imploding. Desantis is an Empty Suit.
Even now, the Never-Trumper Fox News has reported President Trump is now commanding a 30 point lead over Desantis and other so-called “contenders” are in the very low single digits in their nationwide poll.
Their poll indicates President Trump is getting stronger. Not weaker in his 2024 campaign.
Putin Represents Russia. If you buy the narrative that everyone hates him you’re wrong. More importantly though, I haven’t hears anyone else even discuss Russian culture or history which is no small part for the conflict. Not even acknowledging that doesn’t seem like a great point to start talking. I also suspect Trump would be much more willing to confront, even own up to, the biolab concerns. Reintegration of the Donbass may not happen but Russia relinquishing is still on the table. There is a lot Trump can do that others can’t because he isn’t help bent on thr deep state narrative at all costs.

Russia lost most of its nontechnical brain during the 71 years between the revolution and the dissolution of the Soviet Union. An entire generation without Western liberal education (liberal used in the old sense) and they’ve only had about 30 years to catch up.

Trump reflexively went against our former Lt Gov because she was supported by Pence. We don't care what Pence thinks, but our sainted ex-gov Walker also supported his ex-Lt and she would have won.
Ironically, Trump did to the WI R party incumbent candidate EXACTLY what he says DeSantis is doing to him. In politics, primary upsets are fine. The Don's hypocrisy is not.
We have a very red legislative branch begging to enact election reforms that would have helped Trump win WI in 2024 - now that can't happen for 4 long yrs. Maybe he should wait till 2028.
Now, WI joins the list of states hurt by Trump's help and unlikely to be excited about him in 2024.
