"$26,900 is considered entry level."

There was a thread on FR just yesterday stating that Ford was selling their electric F-150 for $81,000.00, but it was costing them $221,000.00 to manufacture it.! It said Ford has already lost about two billion dollars on the electric car business..

Gas cars can be made cheaper. It is all the extra doo dads that raise the price. Electric cannot nor will the battery recharge faster nor will the range increase. The cost will only go up as the electricity price will.

Everyone else is subsidizing the electric cars and solar business.

$26,900 is considered entry level. LOL.

Yikes. We old-timers remember when it was one-tenth that. My wife bought her first car in 1973 for $2500, top-of-the-line for the model with all accessories. Entry-level was under $2000 for it. How young people can afford plunking down $80,000 for a truck is nuts.

I saw a 3 wheeled enclosed vehicle on my way home from work today. No idea what it was, except that it probably WASN’T an Elio.

EVs are powered by electricity which comes from the burning of coal and natural gas, solar, and nuclear.

Oh, and wind when the turbines aren't busy killing birds or failing.
