If every GOP candidate shares Trump’s policies, why would you run against Trump with the exception of your donors funding your retirement? His popularity is more than every candidate combined and if you support Trump in 2024, chances are you will get his endorsement for 2028.

Plus, Trump can get more done because he is from outside the establishment. He now knows better on who to bring into the administration and how government works. He didn’t have that in 2016.

“Don and Teri Synborski said they both like DeSantis, but would like to see Christie enter the race.”

That pretty much says it all about these donors.

What DeSantis supporter have to assess is whether it’s more important to them that Trump NOT get back into the White House, than to get a Republican in there.

The problem is that Trump’s “Stormy Daniels Problem” is now DeSantis’s “Stormy Daniels Problem” in that he brought her name up, to un-needed, while criticizing what looked to be the impending arrest of Trump last week.

Bringing up her name, IN THAT CONTEXT, means that a good chunk of Trump supporters are done with him...so, while he might still win the Primary, he won’t be getting into the White House without those millions of Trump voters.

Anyway, say what you will about that part of Trump’s support, but it DOES EXIST, even if the Washington Post won’t mention it and people here would rather not have to consider it.

The Never Trump scumbags are panicking - ha ha ha ha.
They are fooling themselves and have already hit the bottom of the barrel.
The ash holes that have declared or are leaning won’t break 20% combined. But let the turds in the Never Trump camp spend their money on nitwits because where ever they have left will go to the Democrat/communist candidate.
