Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded on Tuesday night to President Joe Biden's criticism of what is happening in Israel.
“I have known President Biden for over 40 years, and I appreciate his longstanding commitment to Israel. The alliance between Israel and the United States is unbreakable and always overcomes the occasional disagreements between us,” said Netanyahu.
“My administration is committed to strengthening democracy by restoring the proper balance between the three branches of government, which we are striving to achieve via a broad consensus,” he added.
“Israel is a sovereign country which makes its decisions by the will of its people and not based on pressures from abroad, including from the best of friends,” stressed Netanyahu.
Netanyahu’s response came after Biden commented on the recent goings on in Israel earlier on Tuesday and said, “Like many strong supporters of Israel, I'm very concerned. I'm concerned that they get this straight. They cannot continue down this road. I've sort of made that clear.”
Biden also added he will not be inviting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House in the near term.
Later on Tuesday, as he was returning to the White House, Biden was again asked about Israel’s judicial reform and said “they got to work it out.”
He was then asked what he hopes Netanyahu will do regarding the judicial reform and replied, “I hope he walks away from it.”

Yes
Omg, is Bibi finally getting up off his knees? Even just an inch!?
Thank Heaven!
And Biden needs to do likewise and tell his Commie/Soroznazi Puppetmeisters to stop running him around and round like a little Lionel toy train
Great point! The US love for Israel(with the exception of a few evangelicals), has been for its own self interest. They have supported Israel when it furthered their own worldly ambitions.
Related to my thoughts in #20 below. No real point of disagreement between us.
I wouldn’t say that America’s relationship with Israel is merely self-interest dressed up. I would say that the Brandonistas’ and leftards’ tolerance and manipulation of Israel is.

He’s owned. He’s China’s butt-boy to the tenth power. He won’t do it.
I think at this point most countries (outside of Europe) have moved on from the United States (thanks Brandon) and now look at what Russia and China thinks about them. Israel is somewhat late in that move, due to their close military ties to the US, but they’ll move away also, once they get assurances that they can be safe in that neighborhood.
I used to think that as well until I realized that there really are not two different parties in America but a Deep State, Uniparty which carries out it interests by controlling Washington. They perpetuate unrest in the Middle East in general, and in Israel in particular as a matter of control and preservation of their power. If there was not a Middle East Confluct. They would have to invent one.
Same holds for the present conflict in Ukraine, and whenever China gets around to invading Taiwan, they’ll do it that way, too. To them, the problem with WW II was that it ended. One of the things I respect about Truman was that he chose to end Korea unsatisfactorily, rather than escalate it into a knock-down drag-out with China.
Agreed. He’s hopeless. I’m just venting today.

The Marxist president is not happy.
Me too. I was one of those sailors during Vietnam that started out Gung ho and got real disillusioned in the early 70’s. We did some real stupid things to save French rubber trees.
Colonel Smedley Butler twigged it. War is a racket. And these are the racketeers.
Rubbers grow on trees? Who knew!
