At least 39 people were killed after a fire broke out at a migration center along the U.S.-Mexico border, officials said Tuesday.
The fire began Monday night at a facility run by the National Migration Institute in Ciudad Juarez, the agency said in a statement.
Dozens more were injured, with 29 people taken to four local hospitals in "delicate-serious condition," it said, adding that there were 68 men from Central America and South America being held in the facility during the time of the fire.
Images showed rows of bodies laid out under silver sheets as rescue teams, firefighters and local police responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known. The agency said that it "strongly rejects the acts that led to this tragedy," without elaborating on what those might have been.

There’s a National Migration Institute? The invasion of the United States is institutionalized in Mexico?
Where’s Biden for a comment on this one??? Get some ice cream!!!
Probably chains on all exits — for security measures. Cooked inside.
We should immediately airlift 39 replacements into Mexico.
Trump’s fault

2015 Temporary Migrant Regularization Program
The Programa Temporal de Regularización Migratoria (PTRM) published on 12 January 2015 in the Diario Oficial de la Federación, is aimed at those foreigners who have made their permanent residence in Mexico but due to ‘diverse circumstances’ did not regularize their stay in the country and find themselves turning to ‘third parties’ to perform various procedures, including finding employment.[1]
The program is aimed at foreign nationals who entered the country before 9 November 2012.[1] Foreigners wishing to live and be part of the national life of Mexico, will receive through the PTRM the status of ‘temporary resident’ by an immigration document that is valid for four years.[1] The temporary program will run from 13 January to 18 December 2015.[1]
the purpose appears to be to help those immigrating TO Mexico.
Does that change the flavor of the article?
“And what is the purpose of this institute and how is it financed?”
I believe it’s Mexican since his happened in Mexico
“Cooking meth?”
Nope - cooking Mexicans
The Biden caused human tragedy by keeping the borders open and inviting this is unspeakable in so many ways. I’m shocked there is zero outrage in the legacy media.
All those widows and orphans are angry about not being allowed in.
[...there were 68 men from Central America and South America being held in the facility...]
68 people couldn’t exit? Only one door? Were they locked in?
From what I have read they set their mattresses on fire. The fools still can’t comprehend that when you burn such mattresses they give off very poisonous fumes.
Prayers for all these deceased and their families.
Sure, it’s IN Mexico. Smack dab on the border to the US. Why the heck did it house South and Central American citizens? Seems they got lost heading north through the entire country of Mexico.
