I, too, have been here 23 years. (I joined in mid March 2000, but had to retread after moving, changing email address, long family illness and forgetting my password — for the “crime” of being a “retread”, a certain faction from The Special Q Thread is constantly trying to get me zotted. Laz: What is FR for anyway? Is it not better to allow “xyz2” to remain here and learn how the media calls all sorts of rifles “assault rifles” and that gun control laws banning “assault rifles” don’t make any difference at all in how many school children are murdered? Lots of people have been turned around on this issue (and other conservative issues) here on FR, given time and a little grace. Patience is a virtue :) Still love ya, Laz.
