Catholic Joe Biden Wants to Force Pro-Lifers to Pay for Abortions: Yet He says “I go to Mass and I say the rosary."

One of the most revolting aspects of the sinister corruptocrat Old Joe Biden’s carefully cultivated public persona as affable Lunchbucket Joe is his ostentatious false piety. “I go to Mass and I say the rosary. I find it to be incredibly comforting,” Biden claimed in a 2020 campaign ad, and the establishment media has pushed this nonsense as well.

“The new president,” the New York Times announced three days after Joe started pretending to be president, “elevates a liberal Catholicism that once seemed destined to fade away.” By “liberal Catholicism,” the Times means an ostentatious, external piety emptied of all its content and cynically designed to win Catholic votes, and the Biden regime has now underscored that fact by trying to force pro-lifers to pay for abortions. If that’s Catholicism, Joe, I’m Fidel Castro.

LifeNews reported Wednesday that the regime is planning to end the legal right to object on moral grounds to the “HHS mandate.” The “HHS mandate,” LifeNews explains, is “the term commonly used to refer to the requirement under Obamacare for employers to pay for abortifacients, contraceptives, and sterilization in their health insurance plans.” Now Biden’s handlers have made “a formal proposal to create a new regulation” that would “strip away the rights of organizations to refuse to comply with the HHS mandate because they have a moral objection to abortion, contraceptives, or sterilization.” Does this violate the First Amendment’s guarantee of freedom of religion? Of course. But they’ll get away with it unless and until the Supreme Court stops them. That could take a while.

When the Obama regime first imposed the HHS mandate in 2013, it noted that religious groups were exempt; even then, however, “the exemption was so narrow that even some churches couldn’t qualify.” Pro-lifers challenged the mandate in courts and won a series of victories that secured their exemption from having to pay for abortions. Then the Trump administration put a rule in place that specifically protected religious groups from being harassed on the basis of the HHS mandate. Now, however, “the Biden proposal would rescind the Trump rule and force non-religious employers with only a moral objection to comply.”

Can you imagine the March for Life, one of the foremost pro-life organizations in the country, having to pay for abortions? Old Joe Biden can. LifeNews notes that March for Life “previously sued the Obama administration on the matter and won in a lower court before the case was mooted by the Trump rule.” But now Catholic Joe wants to strip away those protections. March for Life and every other pro-life organization in the country would find its tax dollars going to fund the national sacrifices to Moloch. That sure is living your faith, Joe!

Roger Severino, a Trump-era HHS official, explained what this initiative is all about: “It’s all politics. They have to answer to their radical pro-abortion base. They couldn’t stomach the fact that they have lost this issue at every stage at the Supreme Court, and they want to show that they are continuing to resist in the wake of the Dobbs ruling… This is a purely political stunt to try to send a message to institutions with moral objections to the sexual revolution.”

Yes, and that message is quite ominous. The Biden regime is working to restrict the freedom of speech (as we saw with its ill-fated Disinformation Governance Board and its pressure on Twitter to silence dissidents) and the right to bear arms; now it is trying to gut the freedom of religion as well.

All it would need to destroy that freedom utterly would be five compliant Supreme Court Justices. It doesn’t have them now and we can hope that it never will, but nevertheless, the Biden regime is without a doubt laying the foundation for the destruction of the right of citizens to dissent on religious grounds from the government’s soul- and life-destroying far-Left agenda.

Catholic Joe could end up going down in history as one of the foremost enemies of the right to life. This would be an odd legacy for such an ostentatiously Catholic president, and it exposes Old Joe once again as the inveterate liar that he is. In fact, the one certain thing amid all this is that a foremost aspect of the Biden legacy will be a series of tremendous advances and victories for the Father of Lies.

I don't care how religious he CLAIMS to be.

I still don't want to ay for abortions. People need to be financially responsible for their own health care. Or abortions, because they are not healthcare.

Hiring out for murder should never be covered under healthcare.

These radical leftists want to force us to pay for abortions, sex-”change” operations, and euthanasia. The goal is to eliminate Christianity.

That, too, but the other very real goal is to eliminate people.

1 Timothy 5:20

Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all, so that the rest also will be fearful of sinning.

Or, maybe let him get away with it because he is a Democrat./S

Well, I used to see bumperstickers that said “Keep your rosaries off my ovaries”. So, how about “Keep your ovaries out of my wallet”?

“I go to Mass and I say the rosary."
First of all, a Catholic would capitalize "Rosary," but that may be a reporter's transcription, so whatever. Regardless, here Biden is suggesting that the Rosary is part of the Liturgy. Had he meant these as separate events, he'd have said, "I go to Mass, and I also say the rosary." If he prays the Rosary during Mass, I suppose that's okay, but rather uncommon and highly doubtful.

Moreover, if you click on the article about Joey and his "rosary," he claims that he still has the Rosary that his son Beau "was wearing" when he died. Can't speak for the "good" son, but if a faithful Catholic takes the Rosary seriously, he ought to follow Code of Canon Law 1171:
Sacred objects, set aside for divine worship by dedication or blessing, are to be treated with reverence. They are not to be made over to secular or inappropriate use, even though they may belong to private persons."
Just seems like more b.s. from Biden. I can't say for sure, but that's my informed impression.

Worse, though, is this slimy claim that Biden is faithful and attends mass every Sunday. The MSM made a big deal about Biden's faith, heavily publicizing his attendance at Mass on Election Day in 2020 (as if that wasn't purely political), and stating everywhere that he faithfully attended Mass throughout the election.

First of all, his home parish, St. Joseph on the Brandywine, like most others across the country, was closed to public worship from March 18 to June 20, 2000, and only resumed services with limited attendance and social distancing. The Wilmington Archdiocese maintained its dispensation for Mass attendance through at least the summer of 2021 (see COVID–19 Guidance, May 21, 2021 (Diocese of Wilmington)).

Either way, like its puppet masters, the MSM, of course, is expert at cognitive dissonance: how did Joey attend Mass regularly while also upholding the COVID hysteria? Did they mark off pews with 6-foot hoola hoops? Instead, we see crap like this from NBC in Jan, 2021:
Through the campaign and into the transition, Biden not only rarely missed weekend mass at his home parish in Delaware, he also attended services on holy days of obligation and made an effort to attend services while traveling .... But he has also opted for in-home services. Over Christmas, when the Bidens never left their Wilmington home, a close family friend, Rev. Kevin O’Brien*, a Jesuit priest who is now president of Santa Clara University, celebrated mass for the Bidens virtually.
Sunday services: Biden's faith on display in renewed presidential ritual
Nice, he gets private Mass, but it's simply a lie that he attended his local parish services regularly throughout 2020.
[* O'Brien, btw, is a piece of work, and of a kind for Joey: Santa Clara University President Kevin O’Brien resigns after ‘inappropriate behaviors’: Investigation found indiscretions during dinner conversations with Jesuit grad students
Into the inauguration, it just got stupid, such as this from CNN, which claimed in Dec/2020:
But for Biden, who next month will become the second Catholic president in US history, attending weekly Mass is expected to be a fixed part of his schedule. And while it’s unclear whether he will adopt a permanent parish in Washington during his term, Biden’s churchgoing will not only provide a window into his spiritual side. It will also be core to his political brand – apparent not just in the pursuit of his policy agenda but even in his schedule as President.
Biden’s Catholic faith will be on full display as the first publicly churchgoing president in decades
As of today in March of 2023, the best the Bing AI Chat can come up with is four (4) documented times Joey has attended mass since becoming President, and that includes friendly sources such as NYSlimes, CNN and the leftist National Catholic Reporter.

If Joey is so spiritual and faithful, you'd think we'd all have noticed, including the lefty AI machine. Neither it nor I have. It's just talk, especially crap like this from the National Catholic Reporter in Jan 2021:
"The inauguration of Joe Biden, the nation's second Catholic president and a regular churchgoer, not surprisingly resulted in a slew of secular media coverage of the president's faith, as religion reporters seem to breathe a sigh of relief that the new commander in chief actually practices religion, rather than crassly abuses it.
Liberal Catholicism: We've been here all along
I suppose this reporter actually believes that Joey "actually practices religion," but she might want to back that up with "actual" demonstrations of it.

I can't see into Biden's heart, but Matthew 7:16 tells us to look at the fruits. In general, the harvest is awful, but as to faith, the fruits of any that Biden may actually practice are also not good.

It's worse than you guys imagine. Someone who is given right doctrine and all of those aids to salvation and still leads a reprobate life and dies in a state of mortal sin, gets a worse judgement than the person who had none of them.

And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. -- Lk 12:47-48, NKJV

What, over a Zoom call? That doesn't actually count as Mass attendance or fulfill a Sunday obligation.

Praying the Rosary at Mass was a common practice, particularly among women, during the Latin Mass. Not able to understand the prayers, save the Gospel reading and homily, many women took to saying the Rosary as a way of offering prayer during the Mass.
