Funny how some stars are timeless and others became dated.
Byrds, Animals, Petula Clark, Tom Jones, obviously Rolling Stones, Beatles and Doors had depth of musical talent.
I didn’t remember how great the aging Harry James was in the era around 1966-1969 doing A Taste of Honey and others in triple fast time with outstanding brass including his own solos. Was the first band for Frank Sinatra. I was even a fan of the end of the era big bands on tour then (Stan Kenton, Sy Zentner,New Glenn Miller Band) but only saw James on Ed Sullivan. Outstanding work.
A hundred years from now people will still be listening to The Beatles.
There will be very little from 1980 onwards listened to in a hundred years.

Kanye etc should be able to say whatever he wants as long as opposition can say what they want. Unlike the left and as a conservative libertarian I oppose any muzzle on speech unless it is spam or porn. It seems leftists freely trash those who have certain religious beliefs. (ie like Christianity at will), while others are kept muzzled. I strongly oppose selective muzzling. Free speech means free speech.
