When someone uses the new name, correct them and say,
“You mean Ft. Hood. That’s the name it was when I was active duty and it still will always be Fort Hood. Don’t steal my memories.”

The "trigger word" will be "but".
If they say "but", that's when you punch them in the face.
The Southern military leaders are still studied worldwide. They were able to fight outnumbered and win many battles. That should be important to our military.
