DeSantis needs to make clear and uncompromised statements about the countrywide policies that he wants, how he would implement those policies, and the effects that those policies would have.
2028 will be his year. All a 2024 bid would do is disrupt the efforts to establish a MAGA institutional infrastructure to eventually edge out the swamp. Trump has to be the man in 2024. Mean time, De Santis should be thoroughly establishing his bona fides in Florida, and waiting for 2028 to go national.

DeSantis needs to understand that his Deep State “supporters” are playing him.
They are only using him to get rid of Trump, they will turn on him, once that’s done.
Agree he’s just a state operator he hasn’t done the dealings like Trump has done with world leaders even before he became president.
The best chance is for DeSantis to say that he’s for everything Trump is for, except for the drama. But cozying up to the Bushies is not a winning strategy.
