Someone help me out. I can’t come up with an example of how Congress has any jurisdiction at this point. Looks like blatant posturing to me.

DA’s office uses federal funds, so that is an avenue for oversight.

Almost every DAs office receives federal money of some kind. Since money is fungible, it stands to reason that some federal funds are utilized in this case. That could give Congress a reason to investigate. Accepting federal funds always comes with strings…

He is using a Federal Law as a basis for building a NY city prosecutorial crime!

A charge that the Feds failed to prosecute!

That makes it a reasonable Congressional inquiry summons valid in my mind!
