For years Mrs Submareener was told to cut back on salt because of high blood pressure, and for years she would end up in the hospital with low sodium. Finally she found a nephrologist who understand what is really going on, and prescribed 3 grams of salt tablets a day, plus whatever salting she wants on her foods. Her blood pressure is down and she doesn’t have to take diuretics for swelling. Everything they told you about diet is a lie.

Salt keeps well.

Stock up on it.

It seems to be an item I do not often see on prepper lists for necessities, but ought to be on them.

I store my salt in old, cleaned out, glass spaghetti sauce jars. That way if the salt gets to the lids, I am not throwing out canning jars lids. So farI’ve had no problem with that though.

The government seems to be everyone’s personal Dr Kevorkian.

Just use Morton’s lite salt with half the sodium removed. Its still real salt. I’ve been using it for 25 years.

is will end up just like the cancerous sugar substitutes they pushed decades ago.

No thanks, I’ll keep my normal salt, sugar and butter thank you FDA for your “concern”

The FDA is another infiltrated agency. There was a report just the other day about how bad it was to avoid all salt. And that it is very bad for those with a heart condition to avoid all salt.

Dialysis patients are one segment of the population that will need to be vigilant if these worthless bureaucrats push this through. Most of them already have elevated potassium without sufficient kidney function that needs to be controlled through diet and dialysis.

I have low blood sodium, a potentially dangerous condition. However, it is easily treated—eat a moderate amount of salt—sodium chloride!

So I put salt on bland foods—other foods already have enough salt.

Demonizing salt can hurt quite a number of people, and doctors may not catch it before it does harm to the patient!

"What could possibly go wrong?"

I worked with a guy whose wife stopped her intake of all salt, and almost died from it. Too low of an amount of sodium in your body is just as bad as too much. This call for salt substitutes tells me the government didn't kill enough people off with their Covid lies. Time to cull the herd again.

The “nanny state” strikes again!

Why do these bureaucrats think they need to control every area of every citizen’s life? Are we not able to decide for ourselves something as simple as what we eat and what we don’t eat?

The FDA pushes toxic chemicals while waging war against natural remedies.

A lot of salt substitutes contain potassium in high amounts, which can be deadly for renal and cardiac patients seeking to decrease salt in their diet. One I used years ago was almost pure potassium.

That’s all well & good common sense, but nearly no one will change. I explain the ‘why’ in my yet to be finished book.

Still, my better sense overcomes me and I, too, sometimes try to help.

I gave up writing/publishing to help people; that motivation evaporated during public outreach when I was ready to publish years ago. I’m publishing the rewrite now only to highlight government complicity in the ongoing pandemic of disease and to give a great big #3 finger ITYS to critics.

The plandemic ironically prompted a new chapter which keeps reinforcing itself with every new revelation about us so-called ‘conspiracy theorists’ who were wrong about absolutely nothing.

To you & I, actions by government such as this are just all part of the same pattern, i.e., no surprise.

Sickness is both profitable, strengthens the regulatory channels (government) and controls the populace.

In 10 years, they will be funding studies for a whole new wave of disease related to induced (non-hospitalization) hyponatremia, to state nothing of all the studies designed to deflect blame for the predicted wave of disease due to the jabs.

The idea the Biden administration is pushing this, I wouldn’t be surprised if you’re correct. Salt substitutes straight from China and lovingly laced with traces of fentanyl.

Some people are salt sensitive, most people are not.
Another unnecessary government one-size-fits-all that will please no one.

Potassium chloride is necessary for good health, but not always. It can further injure people on certain meds, and with certain health conditions, like kidney failure.

Salt is also necessary for life, but again, certain health issues can be impacted by too much of it.

Someone once told me that if you want healthier food, shop the outside isles of the store, skip the inner isles. Thats wheee the bad chemicals are.
