Bannon on War Room today.
Politico on Trump versus Desantis, Desantis has the wine track and Trump’s got the beer track and the beer track is like 80% of the votes.
Then you got the NBC which is the biggest tell. This is a BRUTAL article and it is incredibly well sourced and it’s written by real people. Jonathan Alan is on the left but he’s like a Jonathan Swan. These are old school good reports and it is well sourced. 16 people associated with Desantis. That is a brutal story ladies and gentlemen because that is the inner sanctum of the DeSantis operation and they understand something we’ve been saying.
There’s a failure to launch on this book tour.
It didn’t happen. Numbers went in reverse. Number one, he didn’t own the material, for instance on Ukraine and other things. He focus grouped everything. Not ready for primetime. It is destroying his campaign. Now they are having second thoughts.
As Bill Maher said Trump has the confidence. I call it swagger. He didn’t really have swagger when he launched in November but he has that swagger now. And the more you put pressure on Trump the more you try to encircle him, he’s the best counter punch in the world. You can tell his back is up and we’re rolling right now.
East Palestine was huge.
Congrats, on agreeing with NBC.
I think it is a mistake. Republican conservative states need to rebuild using Florida as an example. The fed swamp in DC is lost. Sure a bomb thrower will be great, like Trump, to make us feel better but it is a lost cause until the states clean up and push back. DeSantis is more valuable as a gov right now.
I would vote for DeSantis over Trump, but the price to pay for such an internal fight is not worth it. He should just skip the thing altogether. They’re basically fighting over the same audience and it would really fall into who’s going to be the most effectively negative candidate. Something that will not serve the interests of the ultimate fall campaign.
The Conservative Circular Firing Squad® is back and stronger than ever. Let’s really gun each other down for the win this time, folks!
We need Trump to take down the corrupt, weaponized Administrative State that is intent on fundamentally changing (ie destroying) America.
Trump is the only one who can accomplish this.
DeSantis is being backed by the Administrative State. He cannot run even run for President without them and so there is no way will he go against them if he wins. It's just that simple. .
A quick look at Eberhart's background show him to be a MAGA supporter in 2016 and 2020 who has soured on Trump since then.
Trump obviously doesn't kowtow to donors or take directions from them, and the unanswered question is whether or not DeSantis does.
we can afford it ... we have a very deep bench </sarc>
Good comment.
Most of us, I’m sure, will support Trump or Desantis for the general, regardless. No way in hell I am voting for any Dem, and that includes staying home with my ball.
Great response there, highly intelligent.
DeSantis poll numbers are dropping. His press blitz is flopping. Trump’s rally in Waco will be hopping.
If you remove the undecided, the “Ukraine not a national interest” is the clear majority of the GOP and growing. However, the pro-Ukraine War is the establishment GOP position. It is just like immigration in 2016. The non-Trump candidates have to bend to receive the establishment money.
Whenever I have conversations with people and Florida comes up in any context, it is invariably related to one or more of the following subjects:
1. A place to retire
2. A trip to Disney
3. Spring break
4. The Daytona 500
5. A cruise to the Bahamas out of a Florida port
6. Any other random type of vacation
When I go back and think about it, I can't remember the last time I had a conversation where Florida was discussed in the context of a serious subject matter. When you consider that Florida is now the third-largest U.S. state in terms of population, it's surprising how few Fortune 500 companies are located there. I'm sure there are others, but CSX Railroad is the only one that stands out in my mind.
“Someone has to be lazy or dim to just reflectively take the opposite side of whatever side NBC takes.”
Or trolling, whether they know it or not.
