Gas leak or sabotage, like the other 100+ other food production plants over the past 1-2yrs?
The video footage at the Fox Site (local affiliate WX cam) is devastating…
Night ops by those thugs at Hershey? :)
Was Mr. Slugworth in the vicinity?
Yes it was a huge explosion. Strange this factory lasted for years then this happened.
Not saying there’s any connection between this explosion and all the other attacks on food processing companies, electrical substations, and chemical companies, it does seem like this type of “accident” is happen a lot more frequently.
It is strange.. very strange. Chocolate, yet, and not Hershey’s..
GAS “Leaks” another reason NOT to use GAS????
Met the owners a few times, great family run business. I owned my first home just a few blocks away.
Lots of young people working in factories and many have no clue about industrial activities, gas leaks, etc.
They are used to flipping a switch and having power.
Really sad.......

It could be powdered sugar explosion.
Sugar is very explosive when in dust status. Entire sugar mills have been destroyed when sugar dust in empty or partially filled silos are exposed to an ignition source.
Doesn’t look good for the 9 missing employees...
They didn’t used to hire incompetent DEI people or illiterate illegals either.
Same for sawmills and other factories with dust particle build-up and a spark.
When the VP in charge of our division, who had been in that position since the end of WWII, retired, a bean counter was hired to replace him.
Throughout the company business and accounting degree types were hired to replace all of the engineering types as retirements continued.
Few of the new hires understood maintenance and upgrades of equipment, dimensional control of products or training of people.
All they cared about was numbers, getting product out the door.
For about 10 years everything spiraled downward as all they cared about was the next quarter earnings.
Finally somebody in upper management must have figured it out and started hiring bright young engineers.
Everything was improving as I left.
Combine the EEO, ESG and DEI practices with bean counters running the show and it's amazing we don't have more disasters in manufacturing and transportation.
Company officials say they plan to discontinue the Fulminate Surprise truffle.
All of the accidents should have been investigated by a state’s fire marshal resulting in a report.
Where are the reports?
Perhaps the trannies at Her-She are going on the offensive...
I’m sure it was just accidental. 🙄
